Submission Deadlines
Different companies have different deadlines. Awareness of these dates ensures that you don’t miss out on easy money.
Standard match request submission deadlines include:
End of the calendar year
A set number of months after the date of the donation, most often 3-12 months
End of January, February, or March in the year subsequent to when the donation was made
How To Request a Matching Gift
Here’s the basic process you will need to follow in order to submit a corporate matching gift request and have it fulfilled by your employer:
The donor sends in their donation or completes it online.
The donor then contacts their employer and requests matching gift program guidelines.
Usually an employer will provide the donor with a form to fill out. Employers may require a receipt and a copy of the Foundations 501(3)(c) letter. If you have not received a receipt please email us.
Once processed and approved, the company makes a matching donation to the Foundation!
